Ready to put LeBron ahead of Kobe in tier list.

Bron Bron has been better than Kobe for sometime. Kobe is a great scorer,I would compare him to say like Doctor J. LeBron is moving closer to passing Tim Duncan and that's if LeBron has an epic collapse. Assuming normal aging he'll coast past Duncan and others who still have better careers overall because of longevity.

Wow. Compared to the other deals the Hawks got Dwight Howard for a really decent price.

I hope he plays better being home again and his back doesn't give out.

This probably means no more Al Horford.

Inretested to see who we go after.

Trying to keep Horford but move Milsap? Did keep Bazemore on a large deal, so the Hawks are wheeling and dealing at the moment.

Not sure id move Milsap for Horford?

I like that the Hawks actually made an effort this off season, but it was a bad attempt. The team is worse off than it was. Howard is a whiny baby with a terrible attitude. Not too mention he can't stay healthy and has zero offensive skill. Bazemore is absurdly overpaid like 99 percent of the NBA mind you, but for a role player he's getting grossly overpaid. Point guard was an area of strength and now it's become a glaring weakness.

Wow.

Durant will be hated more than LeBron.

He shouldn't be. He didn't make some spectacle about his talents being taken to some city and how they were going to win 5 titles. He also didn't beg players from around the league to team up in Miami with him. Golden State made him an offer and the team he has around him now were already there. I agree it's a cop out, but this isn't on the level as Lebron at all.

I am a casual NBA fan, but holey moses is this the most crazy, active free agent period ever? It's like a chinese fire drill out there!

Really like what Stan Van Gundy and the Pistons have done, and continue to do...quietly go about their business making astute moves acquiring young controllable talent and building one of the best young cores in the game. They aren't going to win a championship in the next couple of seasons, but with all their young talent and IF Drummond, Jackson, and Johnson continue to improve and can take their game to the next level, they could be a powerhouse really really quick that reaches a climax when teams like the Spurs, Cavs, and Warriors are on the downward slope or near the end of their run.

The NBA is pretty unwatchable even more so now. Two team league and one team has an auto lock to reach the finals because of how weak the eastern conference is.

The playoffs this year were very watchable, some of the best NBA basketball I've seen in a long time.

The playoffs as whole were terrible. The difference between teams is huge. The finals and WCF were pretty good, but the only close game in the finals was game seven. Everything else was already a wrap by the middle of the 4th quarter or earlier.

I agree that the postseason was a bit stile, but this past season was probably the best regular season the NBA has ever had. The quality of play is incredible right now. Basically every team in the league has a star right now. That's insane.

I certainly would not say they have one of the best young cores in the game. They have the same problem teams like the Hawks/Celtics have; they have a bunch of good players, but they don't have elite ceilings. They don't have anyone on the level of the stars that the Spurs/Cavs/Warriors have. Granted, Drummond, Jackson, and Harris are pretty good players and Pope/Johnson have some pretty good potential, but stars win in the NBA.
