You know the Thunder better than me, so I’ll defer to you who has had the bigger impact. I just think Chet is a unicorn who is anchoring a top 5 defense and putting up absurd efficiency on offense.

If Wemby switched places with Chet, Wemby would win this award unanimously.

Chet started out incredibly well but the rigor of the full season after missing out on last year is starting to wear him down.

Whats great is that his defensive impact is still there and he still to this day is not turnover prone.

But Jalen Williams is taking a leap where I think as soon as next season people will be saying he is a top 20 player.

Unbelievable how competently the Knicks have been run under Leon Rose. No panic trades (Lillard or Mitchell). Smart under the radar free agent moves (Brunson and Hartelstein). Trading for guys that fit the roster (OG). Empowering the head coach who also isn’t a moron!!

He would be perfect in starting lineup over Giddey - So I think they need to find a way to get him to another squad. Problem is his value stinks right now.
 
Chop - Jalen Williams will be a top 15 starting next season. Look at his efficiency/volume. Out of this world. True three level scorer that can distribute and play high level defense.
 
Ben Simmons with another back injury. I know Harden didn't win it with Philly so it isn't like a win trade for Philly they lost 2 1s and didn't win. But I bet Brooklyn would love a max contract slot now. 30+M would look good actually on the floor.

We did indeed. Exciting game. I was technically rooting for the Hawks, but honestly I have no NBA allegiance, so I typically root for the players I like. Jason Tatum is legit and really fun to watch.

Inflated stat era - Jordan would get mauled on plays that are fouls in LEbrons era.

Cumulative stats are irrelevant because James came in when he was 18 and has had UNBELIEVABLE longevity (Hello steroids). Lebron is one of the greatest to ever play but nobody dominated the league and games like Jordan did.

If you want an award for best career then give it to Lebron. But best player of all time will always be Jordan (Well until Wemby finishes his career).

Jordan was a better defender than Lebron could ever dream about. Not to mention you're comparing different eras. Scoring averages have increased pretty significantly over the last 35 years. Largely because people actually played defense in the 90's. Oh and let's not forget that Jordan didn't have the option to come out of high school directly to the NBA to held pad his career stats.

And comparing Lebron's late years to Jordan, when Jordan returned to a terrible Wizards clearly out of shape is dumb too. MJ nearly had a dad bod when he returned to the wizards.

And finally, if you watched both guys play, like most anyone born before 1990 has, it's easy to tell who was better.

And if you want to talk about most dominant player of all time, it's easily Shaq. Completely unguardable. Rebound vacuum. And prime Shaq was an elite defender in the paint.
