Man a lifetime ban? You'd think he killed someone. Pretty crazy.
Everything always comes back to money. Once sponsorship companies starting pulling back, the NBA's hands were pretty much tied. The league can't afford to have their image take a hit either.

I agree. What the man said was reprehensible, no doubt -- but the punishment does not fit the crime.

My guess is yes. Even if he gets voted out which I think there's no restitution against, the ban for sure is over the line and I think he can get something.

The owners don't need concrete evidence to ban him. Silver is a representative of all 30 owners.
They can easily say he's banned because his views jeopardize the integrity of the league and has damaged the reputation of his own franchise financially.

This is overkill, imo. The cranky old man will be dead in a few years anyway. Silva was no doubt pressured by powerful black players and ex-players whose views seem both naive and ultra-sensitive. It was still just a private conversation and a "lover's" quarrel.

Thank god for Adam Silver! Now the HEALING process can begin for you, me and the rest of the 7foot 275lb millionaires in the league. The big bad man is gone and now the hypocrites who have all said terrible things in private, yet are the first in line to burn this man at the stake, can now rejoice.

Tony Allen is the one player who gives him trouble, minus Game 1 he's been very sub-par.
Not sure why Allen gives him the most trouble but he doesnt do well vs him.
