NBA Thread

Warriors just couldn't get the stops at the end when they needed them. They are by far the most exciting team in the league.

The NBA really needs to cut down on the amount of timeouts each team gets. Why was a TO necessary for the Clips right there? Just play, like every other sport.

Have to really give it up for Dallas. They played a hell of a series. Carlisle is an amazing coach.

I feel bad for the Raptors. Lowry was hacked 3-4 times on the last possession.

I think the last 5 minutes of that game took an hour. Serious.

The Clippers have a chance. They probably just need someone to be able to create their own shot and get on a roll (Crawford?)

Clips should easily win the battle down low and Westbrook can't hang with Paul (but is he healthy?)

That serious will be painful. Everyone wants the Thunder to lose; playing against the leagues biggest whiners/floppers/babies.

LOL, easily win the battle down low. Thunder have the best post defense in the league. Did you see what htey did to ZBO and Gasol?

Your trolling attempts are funny my friend.

Will be a great series but I think the Thunder have an easier second round matchup than the first. Griz were among the best teams in the league easily.

Who has a chance of guarding either KD or RW in this series?

Griffin and Jordan are a lot better than Gasol and Z-Bo.

The Clippers are a lot like Memphis, just better at every position. 2 guys down low (though Jordan offensive game is week, he's a much better rebounder/shot blocker than Memphis pair) Griffin is worlds better than ZBo or Gasol. Paul is worlds better than Conley. The Clip need someone like Barnes to get in Durants head. Clips also have a much better spot up shooter in Reddick. They also have 2 guys off the bench than can give the team a lift, unlike Memphis.

Griffin is amazing in the open floor and if the Clips want to run with OKC then by all means please try to do it.

IN the halfcourt Memphis IS MUCH BETTER than the Clips. Its not even worth discussing. Even Barkley said it that Ibaka is probably the only guy in the league that can guard Blake. Also, keep an eye on Adams in this series. The last time these two teams played Adams just shut down Blake. Adams is stronger than Blake but still has the athletic ability to stay around him. Blake likes to bully ball it and back down to the post. The Thunder hvae excellent big defenders. The Clips are going to have issues scoring in the halfcourt all series and since Paul is not healthy I doubt he will be able to blow around anyone.

The bottom line is the Clips have nobody to defend KD/RW. Allen is a top 5 wing defender and KD was still scoring plenty in the series and if RW finally had this epiphany then nobody is stopping him. When he plays like he did the last two games he is the third best player in the league. Sadly, its unlikely that he plays like that consistently (got to love RW).

I still think the THunder win. Not only will they play better than last series, but the NBA wants them to move on.

But, to claim Memphis is anything comparable to the Clippers is LOL worthy. "Watch Steven Adams" brings the lulz.

Who had the best record in NBA since the time when Marc Gasol came back from injury? Are you really this dense or just purposely ignorant?

Keep loling Adams. He had a BIG impact in the last series and with the way he defended Blake he will have an even bigger impact this series. The Clippers bigs are not close to as skilled as the Memphis bigs so that makes it even easier for Adams to stay on the floor. Gasol was making him look silly alot just because of his guile. Clippers bigs are not as good offensively in the halfcourt as the the Memphis bigs and for you to think that just shows you have no clue what you are talking about.

Blake Griffin on post-ups vs OKC this season, per Synergy: 4-of-20. Uh oh.
