NBA Thread

No, if you get touched on the arms while you are in a shooting motion it should always be called a foul. That is exactly how the game is supposed to be called. That cannot be argued.

Just posting for lulz. CP3 touching westbrook, obvious foul, but somehow the refs missed that one. Just say it, game is rigged. That's why the NBA sucks.

Not if the defender is straight up and down and your shooting motion puts you into the defender.

So do you have evidence that Westbrook went into Paul? Again, I have the game taped at home so when I'm home for the weekend I will look at it.

I don't think its humanly possible though to move your elbow into a player while maintaining your regular shooting motion. Again, for the most part the consensus is that it was a foul. I don't think people are even debating it anymore.

But, if you watch that last play Griffin has a massing moving screen that isn't called on Thabo. The refs had a mess of a game last night but I'm not sure you can just say it favored one team.

What about the Jamal Crawford 4 point play? That should have been an offensive foul and something that has been called on Westbrook many times this year because he tries the same stupid crap when he kicks out his leg.
The replay call and the missed foul on Reggie Jackson are whats being discussed.

The Jackson one was in a transition opportunity so the game is helter skelter at that point. The Westbrook three was when the team was set and it was done right in front of the ref. Its not really the same thing.

Again, if the game is rigged. Who is rigging the game? Who brings down that edict? How many people are involved? Was it working when the Clippers were up 11?

Consensus from who? No one on Twitter or Reddit.

Or how Jackson hacks Pauls arm on the last play with Paul driving to the basket?

So apparently this is in the rulebook:

This doesn't apply. The rule applies when a player hits another hand causing the ball to go out immediately. The play with Jackson was delayed and touched by his other hand.

I can see it both ways.

There was contact so i can get the call.

But there has been worse not called late in the game, cough Game 2 OKC/Mia where LeBron was draped all over KD and nothing was called, was a 2-pt game.
