Must be nice that Bron gets to go from one super team to a potential new one.

I don't know why you would care.....if a better company offered you more money and a potential for more growth, you wouldn't leave?

If he takes max money I have no issues with that.

If he took less money to make it owrk in Miami then I would not have an issue with that either.

But the combination of going to a better situation while taking less to make it even easier for him to win titles doesn't sit right for me.

For the record, I would go to Cleveland if I were Lebron.

Where has it every been reported that he is going to take less money to go to CLE? Everything since this offseason started has said "Bron wants the max where ever he goes"

Cleveland didn't have MAX space, so they made a trade to get max space. If he was going to Cleveland for less, then why did they make the trade?

BTW, what are the Nets doing in that trade? Do they just like being pathetic and losing tons of money?

They needed a backup PG with Livingston leaving. I think the Nets will still be a playoff team next year (not saying much in the East) but they need to shed those salaries. The approach at a run failed with Deron Williams being a complete bust since coming over. If he were as good as he was three years ago I think they would have made the finals. Most of those games against Miami were pretty close.

Go home thethe, you're drunk.

Did you watch one minute of any of those games? I highly doubt it so how would you know?

again, go home. You're drunk if you think the Nets would make the final. They were raped 4-1, even if they got past the heat cause the heat shat the bed in the worst way possible no way they beat the pacers.

Brooklyn lost game 1 by 20 points, game 2 by 12 points, won game 3, lost game 4 by 6 points lost game 5 by 2 points. Only maybe 2 of those games could have been different, There's also the gas effect. Teams tend to play to their competition. Heat if pressured more may have played much better.

Agreed, but on one hand I want to see him continue to skull **** NBA fans like niners and Heyward that invent reasons to hate him.

Show me how he is skull ****ing me. Tucking tail between his legs because he couldn't win in Cleveland. Now he's doing the same thing in Miami. Sure he got his two rings, but he knows he can't win without studs around him. I don't even like Jordan, but he would never have pulled this crap.

Clearly you didn't watch the games. I rest my case. Go back to the soccer thread.

Don't think that changes anything, if anything it helps NY. Melo/Phil/DFish is big if he's actually willing to take less money.

Knicks are not ready to win now. I like what Phil has done and I think Fisher will be a good coach but lets be real here. You guys aren't going to compete for a championship for at least two years. By then Pau might be done as a good player.

IMO Pau is going to the Bulls or Thunder. Those teams are ready to win now and he would provide the biggest improvement to the Thunder because we have ZERO inside scoring. Thats the last ingrediant to making OKC a complete team. If teams have to potentially double Gasol its going to be over for hte opposition.

Melo reportedly still holding out hope Phil can clear space to bring in Lebron, too. Can't see that happening at this point, but a New York team with Lebron would make ESPN unbearable.
