Nice article on the Hawks and how Schroder is becoming a good player. I loved that kid even last year. Hawks are a fun team to watch.

I was way down on Dennis. Surprise surprise eh?

He's grown up immensely this season. The way Teague is playing is great too. I rarely get to see the Hawks, but when I do I enjoy it. I am very disappointed that Payne is probably not going to see any minutes this season.

So I know he is still going to be inconsistent for a long time but Lamb is quietly having a very nice season. He'll never be a top option but as a 3rd/4th option on a good team you could do worse.

Yeah the guy knows how to score the ball. He's a volume shooter though.

When did i say he wasnt good?

You actually did say that by making the following statement:

"Are you claiming Iggy and Green are good?"

Which clearly implies that you never thought Green was good in the first place. Not like it matters anyway but I'm sure you probably saw Green play a handful of times in your life to make this claim.

Guy is going to get close to 10-12 million per year and if his breakout continues he might get close to max. Guy can guard basically every position on the court and is a big time stretch 4.

I find it hard to believe that Draymond Green will approach a max deal. But then again, I'm a jazz fan and Gordon Heyward got one so I guess it's not the craziest thing ever, but still super unlikely.

He would need to continue to develop for the remainder of the year but his defensive value is immense. More than likely he is going to settle into the 10-12 million dollar range. You just don't get guys that good defensively who can stretch the floor fromt he 4.

That's fair. I just don't see him getting more than Ariza.

He wont get a max but i wonder if GS matches given Lee, Steph, Klay, Bogut and Iggy all make 12+ a year.

Lee would be on an expiring though.

So the top 7 teams in the West are pacing at 60+ wins. The West playoffs are going to be amazing.

Ariza is a good comp, but I think Green is a little better. Both are good role players that benefit from playing with offensive stars and have defenses not paying attention to them. Both can knock down open 3s and play good defense. Good role players to have; stupid to pay anywhere close to max for.

Green can guard 4's. That is a huge differentiator between the 2. Ariza doesn't take a big out of the paint. Green does.
