I'm not college basketball expert but I think the Knicks could still hit a homerun if they get Russel with their first pick. The NBA is all about the PG position and that kid looks like he is going to be one hell of a combo guard.

I probably take Mudiay over Russell but Okafor / Russell / Mudiay / Towns all look like legit prospects. I'd probably take Russell 4th because he's less of a sure thing IMO.

Whats the deal with mudiay? How does anyone know if he's any good? Isn't he over in China?

The top High School prospect last year and obviously saw him vs his classmates. Draws comparisons to Wall, athletic freak that's tall for a PG and huge wing span but needs to work on his shot.

I honestly don't think NBA teams are as concerned about this sort of thing anymore. Mostly because the college game is so weak these days.

Fair point. College basketball is awful. I will never understand why there is such a huge following.

Because people like to root for colleges they attended. I will always be an ODU/Georgetown fan over any professional team bc i have an affiliation with them.

Also, the passion of the fans and players is far greater in college.

Dunk contest has been watered down for a decade plus now. Nobody cares anymore.

Yeah its really odd. If that team was in a major market the media would ripnit to shreds for under achieving and Westbrook would be a villan.
