If you don't think that an issue in the locker room can cause an issue on a team then I question whether you actually played competitive baseball at a high level like you said.

Team chemistry is probably the most overated thing in sports history. When teams struggle, it's team chemistry. When they are good, chemistry is good. Probably the only outliers are the Mets of the mid 80s and the Phillies of the early 90s.

You think the Bulls had good team chemistry? Jordan beat the **** out of guys.

The best team I was ever on was full of guys that hated each other. Fist fights and arguments every day. The worst team I was on all went out for beers after the game.

Well I suppose you just don't think the THunder beat writers know what they are talking about the last 2 months.

There is probably zero doubt that Reggie wanted out and guys despised him. The sports writers are going to overstate the issue to sell stories.

You think Larry Bird was a good teammate? How about Peyton Manning, who ever teammate despises? Shaq and Kobe was a circus together and they won.

I think whatever he based it on (which is probably something like total rebounds) is wrong.

When KD/RW are healthy and Adams/Ibaka are on the floor with them there probably isn't a better rebounding team in the NBA.

There best rebounding wing is Roberson so I will use him:

Adams 15.5% rebounding rate
Ibaka 12.3%
Durant 10.6%
Roberson 10.7%
Westbrook 10.4%

That group gets 56.5% rebounds

Collison-McLemore-Gay-Cassapi-Cousins
Holliday-Evans-Babbot-Davis-Asik
Irving-James-Marion-Love-Thompson

I haven't watched much NBA this year. What's the deal with Thad Young? I remember the Wolves coveting him during the Love trade talks. Now a few months later they trade him straight up for KG's corpse so Garnett can have a 6 week farewell tour?

Im not sure salary wise it is beneficial, but this is just dumb otherwise.

Thad is really solid, that's probably the best trade King ever made. The Wolves are an absolute joke and they are being run into the ground by Flip.

Also, they are signing KG for 2 more years, why? I don't know but they are.

Is this real life?

Not sure how any questions OKC, they have so many rings...

And we went over why they haven't underacheived and you basically had no response. SO if they were healthy I would have to believe that one of the last 2 teams would have a ring.

They are banking on KG teaching the new generation of wolves players. These are the type of intangibles that can't be quantified in analytics but are important.

No, you assume they are excuses....you lost Ibaka for 2 games, still had KD and RW and Ibaka for the last 4. You lost

Yes, losing RW sucks but you still have KD and if he's an all-time great like YOU say he is, then guess what? He's good enough to win without RW.

Also, how's All Star Mitch doing these days?

Yup, Ibaka was healthy. You and GF just can't be fair at all in these conversations. Its really a shame because we often times have great NBA discussions. I'm sure my homerism plays a big role in that but you guys are frustrating as all hell.

No team is going to lose a player like RW and be able to win a title. Thats just asinine.

Mitch is doing just fine my friend. I'm ecstatic that we have him.

So you don't think that a great locker room guy like KG could have any impact on the growth of young NBA players?

How did he help young guys in Brooklyn? (ignoring that KG isn't a great locker room guy and is a big chump)

You know what helps teams? Playing good on the court.
