When I evaluate the Thunder... It's stats because I don't watch the Thunder so I trust what the outcomes suggest.
With Kanter, I'm giving you a mixture of both because I have watched countless hours of him play.

We aren't discussing Kanter right now. I have deferred to you on that judgement until I see a larger sample size of his play.
This was pertaining to Jimmy Butler. I still remember how crazy everyone thought I was for saying there is no way the Bulls should trade him for Love.

I don't understand. I thought I have been pretty forthright with you that I like the fit.
I just feel you think that Kanter has turned into this monster without acknowledging that he was this same player in Utah. Of course I am going to be defensive when you treat your team like a Mecca and my team like hot dumpster fire situation.

We don't need to discuss Butler. That's been done. I was just confused because you loved real plus minus then when it supported your claim, but now you don't like it because it contradicts your opinion.
Not treating the Jazz like they are an awful franchise. I just saw up close what happens to a player when he doesn't like the situation he is in (Jackson). It has nothing to do with the viabiity of the franchises though.
Ok, I don't care what those stats say at all because once Westbrook came back Jackson was in the tank. I know what I saw and I know what I've read. Jackson is going to thrive in Detroit as the starting PG because thats what he wants. He gave no effort and it was obvious to anyone that would watch the Thunder play.
Why was his tanking not evident on his performance on the court then? WHy was he still performing at roughly the same rate he always has?
Jasckson's a decent player, but he's also they type of player more and more teams are getting frustrated with. Low efficient point guard that takes 20% of the teams shots. What is the ceiling of a player that is inefficient, loves to take a ton of shots, and plays bad defense?
And after the adjustment to the new team, Kevin Love is really playing well. Hes back to one of the best players in basketball.
Because jackson was pretty good when Westbrook was out so his numbers are slightly spiked based on that performance. Jackson will be a more efficient scorer moving forward. His defining attribute was his ability to finish in hte lane but that dissapeared this year because he didn't want to get hurt. It will be interesting to say the least how he progresses in his starting role. He's been pretty good so far after his rough start.
Love has certainly played better as of late. Still not as good as Butler. Its nice to have Lebron/Kyrie get you open shots all day.
His finishing percentage within 10 feet in 2014 is essentially equal to his career averages with a ever so slight decrease in shot attempts.
Its interesting to read how much you overate Butler (who is a fine player). So Love benefits from Lebron and Irving; how did he ever score in Minnesota?
Only good player on a bad team. That tends to happen.
So he only good player on bad team and when he's on a good team, its because he has a good team. What would he need to do to get credit?
Have I ever said Love is a scrub? He is a good player. I've never said anything otherwise.
with the caveat that it was only bc he was on a bad team; and now only bc he's on a good team.
Never said that but keep sticking to your approach.
