NBA Thread

star players are protected in the NBA. Westbrook gets a foul called any time he drives in the lane and a defender tries to play defense.

You do know that the two players get their fouls called in complete different ways right?

The league caters to the stars. Espcially during the playoffs. That is why I don't want to play Cleveland in the playoffs. Atlanta is the better team, but having the refs on your side in the playoffs trumps.

Harden is a fantastic player but he does get away with alot of push-offs.

LeBron guarding Harden now.

But Harden is the one who takes the other teams top player according to giles.

In terms of over rating the Rockets players, they have a bunch of role players that do various things well, but take Harden away from the team and they aren't sniffing the playoffs. Harden allows you to carry a defensive (no offense) point guard. A 3 and D small forward is a perfect fit for him, etc. But, insert an above average shooting guard on the Rockets and they ain't crap.

Beverely averages 10+ PPG, but yeah, he cant score.

Any other dumb stuff you wanna spew out there?

What a weird LeBron game

It was inevitable. Big guys don't want to take a beating. He settles for outside shots too much now. That is why I always thought from the years of 30+ that Durant would be a better player than Lebron. Of course this is assuming that KD isn't hurt for the rest of his career.
