They've never had a center as bad defensively as ENES!

They will be able to game plan around that since they have one of the few rim protecting PFs. The increased efficiency on offense will also lead to less transition opportinities.

When Ibaka and Durant get back on the floor next year the Thunder will have a top 10 defense like they have every year.

I don't know. I really don't believe you can have a top 10 defense with Kanter.

The Jazz went from the worst defense in the league to the best the day they traded Kanter. That can't be coincidence.

Derrick Favors has been a better rim protector than Serge this year. It didn't help.

Efficiency on offense helps defenses as well. Kanter and Ibaka work better because of Ibaka shooting.

Favors rim protection I'd suspect is iffy because he plays next to the best rim protector in the gae.

Playing next to Gobert didn't help Kanter either. And yes, they did play a lot of minutes together.

They have been in the top 10 for years now.
While true, it isn't my point.

I firmly don't believe you can have a top 10 defense with the worst defensive big man in basketball.

Edit: Your claim is only partially true. How dare you lie to me

damnit for you making me look this up bc I know you are wrong.............

09/10- 9th

10/11- 15th

11/12- 11th

12/13- 4th

13/14- 6th

14/15- 12th

It's fine. They are replacing Steven Adams minutes with Enes Kanter. I'm sure it won't matter. The teams they play against don't know how to run the pick and roll.
