Lottery isnt rigged, is it BRule?

The probability of everything going according to the most likely outcome is 1 in 48,000. So unless you believe that, it's likely then that some team is going to get lucky each year. The Lakers actually had higher odds of the #2 pick then the #4 pick.

Lakers were 5th, jumped to 2nd.

They'll get Towns or Okafor.

Knicks were 2nd i believe, dropped to 4th.

Houston looks pretty good for a 1-man team.

Lakers moved from 4th to 2nd. They switched places with the Knicks. Why would the NBA "fix" the lottery against the Knicks? Shouldn't they have done it against Minnesota if they truly are evil and sadistic?

I believe the lottery is rigged, just a theory of mine.

Welcome D'Angelo Russell!
Embiid, Noel, Russell, Saric (in another year), 4 potential 1st rounders next year, and some FAs. Not bad.

Not sure how they will work together but if Embid is good holy crap this team is ready to do some work.

As for the actual ramifications of the Knicks getting 4, I'm okay with it....from the begining I've posted that I want Okafor or Mudiay. Assuming we keep the pick it'll be Mudiay or Winslow. Towns might end up being a stud but he's not a good fit for the current Knicks. There's even a rumor going around that if Towns goes 1 that the Lakers will take Mudiay at 2 and Okafor will fall to the Knicks at 4 but again, that's all talk.

Tough luck on the lottery bud. I think it will end up working out better for the Knicks. You need a drastic influx of wing talent and I think you'll get one of Russel/Mudiay/Winslow. I would still stay far away from Okafor if I was an NBA team picking in the top 4-5.

gotta be wishful thinking from knicks fans. no way the lakers pass on okafor after what he did in the tourney.

I don't see how Embiid won't be good. This FO is enamored.

Stranger things have happened. I worry that the lane is going to be clogged because Embid/Noel can't really play at 12 feet or out at this point but the defense should just be absolutely dominant. Wing players can be extremely aggressive at the 3 point line. Should be fun to watch.

Someone drafting Okafor would be the best thing for the Knicks. Wing talent is what wins in the NBA nowadays.

Okafor and Randle is a horrible combo, so it makes sense from a basketball stand point.

Again, not saying the Lakers will take Mudiay or Russell, just passing along what a basketball "insider" heard.
