This trade doesn't mean anything regarding LMA. The reports out there have said just that.
 
Looks like LA is getting Cousins, hopefully they at least trade something instead of fleece other teams.
 
If that is the deal the Kings are getting a pretty good haul for him. Especially if they can unload Carl Landry's contract too.
 
Wouldn't doubt it if the Kings do it. My team is a dumpster fire of a franchise right now. They've made some of the dumbest moves of all time this year and trading the only good player they've had in a decade would be icing on the cake.
 
Cousins is a loose cannon. I agree that Sacramento is in bad shape right now, but Cousins should fetch a pretty good return. You need to trade him now.

His second to last tweet was nearly 50 minutes ago and said talks could intensify tomorrow. But hey keep believing everything you read 20 hours before the draft. Because it's all true.
 
Sac wants Clarkson, Randle, and #2, whether they get that is another story.

Personally i'd keep all 3, and sign a 3D wing like Matthews, Green or Carroll but gotta appease the fans/Kobe.

I love it for Sac, especially if they get to keep 6. I can't talk myself into it making sense for LA.....Kobe and Boogie is a horrible combo, yes Kobe is gone after this year but then you're handing the franchise to Boogie. That didn't go so well in Sacro and Sacro probably has more talent than LA if the trade goes down.

Yeah, but Sacto is a dumpster fire with an org. that has zero clue. Players still would love to play for the Lakers so they won't have an issue building talent around him. When you have the chance to get a top 15-20 player in the NBA, I think you do it.

As for Sacto, they aren't going anywhere as they are constructed so why not start over with Okafor, who gives them similar low post scoring offensively. Add a point guard and Randle off the bench.

In 2 seasons you could be looking at a lineup that has Boogie/Love/Westbrook.
