Why can't they replace him with Adams?
Because Adams will already be getting 25 minutes a night. They would still have to replace Kanter with more.

When the team has hte best offense in the league I think KD will be happy. Zach Lowe had something on his podcast really intersting the other day. Teams are going small and basically nullifying the big man because not enough big men can punish the opposing team for going small. Kanter is basically one of the few centers that can do that.
It will be interesting to see if it works. Luckily having a stretch 4 who is great defensively might let this work. OKC is one of the few teams where Kanters deficiencies may not be crippling.
So now, its great to have a big man that can score down low. You've been harping for months about how rim protection and stretching the floor was the only thing important in the NBA.
not really? why don't they give Adams FT minutes and sign someone as a backup?
How many are better defensively and/or in aggregate? You think KD is going to stay in OKC because they have a crappy center?
Embiid to have 2nd surgery on his foot, likely out for the year.

Still can't believe they took him 2nd....maybe Philly will be good in 2030.

I thought that was the right pick. Like the Knicks with Porzingis you have to try to hit a homerun.
Although based on what I saw out of Aaron Gordon in summer league I think he is about to explode. Can't believ ehow much better his shot looks in year 2.
The Euro looked good today
Hahahahahahahahahahahaha
But 13 mil a year is fine for a guy with a career 8 PPG and 5 RPG?
Yes, Robin is a very good all around center. Using career stats for him is dumb, he just recently became a big minutes guy.
Go look at the nerdy stuff on Twitter, everything says OKC is better off giving Kanters minutes to Adams and Mcgary.
