NBA Thread

Toronto was the worst number 1 seed in a long time. Struggled mightily against Indiana and if officiating was not slanted in Cleveland’s favor, they lose that series. Boston missing their two top players and choking hardcore are why the Cavaliers advanced. Yeah it’s impressive making the finals 8 straight years, but when you sit down and think about how weak the east has been it’s not all that impressive.

You would have thought the NBA wouldn’t have made this fix job so easy to see. Rockets in the bonus in less than 2 minutes and three fouls called on Klay.

I agree for the most part. I mean LeBron deserves a good bit of credit for making 8 straight, but the East has been weak sauce since Boston's Big 3 got old and broke up. Pacers have pretty much been the 2nd best East team for the last 3 or 4 years.

If LeBron was smart, he'd go to Philly in the off-season and continue his East dominance, cause unless Cleveland makes a super team, I doubt he'll get past a healthy Boston or Philly team.

Refs are on the take in this game. The no calls on Harden in the 2nd were ridiculous.

Don’t have a horse in this race, but Curry was also the recipient of missed calls too. The reason why the NBA catches so much heat for their officials is because they always play too much of a role in the outcome of games. The first half was called completely different than the second. It’s all about consistency and there isn’t any.

Y’all are going well out of your way to overthink this LeBron thing.

How could you watch how he’s played this playoffs and dismiss anything that guy has done?

Because I've played bball all my life and I hate watching him play. The brand of ball he plays looks ugly and un-professional to me. It looks like a pickup game on an 6 ft goal like I used to have in my backyard. I know he's a great passer and has worked hard on his long range shooting skills but I don't like watching him dribbling out front like a point guard and driving through people like a freight train.

Even if it is indeed the best and most effective way to utilize him (which I don't believe), it's still ugly. His demands that the offense always start and end with him looks selfish and narcissistic. God, I wanted the Celtics to beat him.
