ESPN/Yahoo reporting Russ could return in 2 weeks.

Good news, i just hope he's not rushing it.

rose 4-12.. lol

The entire team, outside of Boozer, didn't shoot very well last night; I have to think – especially in that horrendous second-quarter – that the Bulls were a little to jazzed-up and eager to disappoint Miami on ring-night: lots of rushed shots and little concern for running their offense. It also didn't help that the only two players (Deng and Butler) with positive on/off numbers last night were limited early by fouls — though Thibodeau's substitutions were somewhat strange for him (especially Tony Snell seeing the court at all, much less receiving seven minutes of playing-time).

Still: I think Rose was the primary culprit, hoisting too many quick threes and generally being too aggressive and in the wrong ways — but I'll forgive him that in his first game back in fifteen months.

I think one of the bigger problems the Bulls are going to have is lack of spacing/outside threat with their starting 5, Noah/Boozer/Deng/Rose all operate best in the same area and they only have Butler to space the floor. Thibs is going to have to come up with a lineup that works, Dunleavy is going to have to mixed in....otherwise the Pacers and Heat will easily be able to shut down the Bulls.

They should of traded for Melo a few years ago.

Rose
Butler
Melo
Boozer
Asik/Gibson

Strongly disagree; Anthony is very overrated, and could not have defended well enough at SF to suit Thibodeau's systemic needs. Plus: losing Noah is a non-starter (in most cases).

Deng's really improved his three-point shooting the past few years, especially in the corners; Rose just needs to play more under-control and find his shooters when they're open, or draw defenders and get them open when they're not. Instead, at least last night, he fell in love with his own three-point-shot despite not having his stroke.

Deng and Noah are good players but Melo is a bonafide superstar who can take a game over.

And Miami would have to put James on him, where Rose gets guarded by Wade or Chalmers?

Now they can have James on him late in games.

It's a league about superstars, Rose is good, he cant do it alone, see: Bron in Cle.

I'd be really excited as a Net fan right now. Injuries are going to hurt them this year but they have sick talent in their starting five.

Well the Heat started out terrible tonight. Looks like no D wade either. Not counting on a lot from him this year.
