Michael Carter-Williams having a huge debut - 20 points, 12 assists, 7 rebounds and 9 steals. Yes, 9 steals. Wow.

Deng and Noah are good players but Melo is a bonafide superstar who can take a game over.

It's a league about superstars, Rose is good, he cant do it alone, see: Bron in Cle.

While I don't necessarily entirely dispute your premise re superstars, I just don't think Carmelo Anthony – in terms of actual productivity – is a "bonafide superstar" (even if he is in terms of personality and marketing).

Moreover – assuming, for the sake of argument, that Anthony is a "bonafide superstar" in terms of actual productivity – I nonetheless don't really think his game would integrate well with Rose's, or the Bulls team as a whole. I'd much rather the Bulls pursue, for instance, Kevin Love, in the quest to add another superstar.

Steal of the draft?

Would probably hold off on that, I hyped MCW as much as anyone on here but he has a ton of flaws...mainly shooting and TO's. He's going to put up numbers though, because Philly is going to be bad.

Yeah. I liked him a lot at Syracuse and was pumped when the Sixers nabbed him to replace Jrue. He played the best game any Sixer has played in years though. His shooting looked fine but it was just 1 game, he def had issues there.

Great game at the Barclays center tonight. Brooklyn is going to be a huge story all year.
