NBA Thread

Then please clarify what you said because I'm pretty sure you basically said Jackson was a non-player while even Brule was defending him as a solid guy. Well, he is more than solid. That guy will make all star games if he leaves to another team to start. If you look at the stats Harden had in his last year compared to what Jackson is doing this year you will realize its very similar. Jackson is a straight up stud.

All I did was laugh at the best backup point guard in the league thing like you did with Maynor.

Brought up guys like Jack, Thomas, etc.

Well, he is the best backup PG in the NBA right now but last year when I started talking up Jackson I'm pretty sure you called him a non-player.

BTW, its early but the James Harden trade is looking to be a solid return for the Thunder. Adams really doesn't know what he is doing yet but the man plays hard and is a dominating physical presence. Once he learns the nuances of the game he is going to be a legit nba starting center that protects the paint and pulls down a ridiculous amount of rebounds. Jeremy Lamb is in the absolute perfect fit for this club. He doesn't have responsibility to create but he can. He has a ridiculous quick release and understands spacing.

This is the most enjoyable team to watch since they moved to OKC. The second unit comes in and they don't skip a beat. They arguably have the best bench in the NBA now.

Kevin (Belgium)

James Harden or Lamb, Adams and much improved Reggie Jackson?
Amin (3:06 PM)

This is a stars' league Kevin. Although those three players have played very well, Harden is in the upper echelon, as arguably the best SG in the game. But if I had to lose Harden, hard to argue you could land a better package than what OKC got.

Only if we can keep Reggie, otherwise it hurts.

Reggie had nothing to do with the deal. Its one year of Martin + Lamb + Adams + I believe Roberson who will be a rotation player as well.

It was a great return when historically you get nothing for trading a superstar.

If the Knicks can get Lowry withotu giving up either Shump or Hardaway then that changes everything. With Chandler back I think they will make a push for at least a 5 seed.

Well, i meant Harden's money which they havent used yet can go to Reggie depending how much he'd cost.

Still got the Dallas pick whenever the hell they get that if at all.

Reggie is playing himself into Ibaka type money. I'm getting nervous that he is going to be so good that teams might be willing to offer him max dollars or close to it. Guy is jsut really good at basketball and is showing himself to be a top notch defender early in his career.
