NBA Thread

I am guessing you are talking about the Thunder? They have two top five players in the league on their squad. What else do they need to win the finals?

You gotta take your lumps to win a title.

Even LeBron did.

Cant just come in and win titles.

They don't need anything else. If they can't win a ring wit this squad then the players aren't as good as most people think.

An all-star at all 12 spots or a pass first PG

Westbrook has been a beast this year. He is exactly what this team needs and last years playoffs clearly showed that.

The Thunder should not make a trade at all this year unless its a dump of Perk or someone overpaying for Thabo.

Thunder have three future starters on their bench and the best role player in the NBA.

thethe, you are gonna have to fill in the blanks on that last one: (3 future starters/best role player)

Jackson/Lamb/Adams will all be starting players in this league. Collison is the best role player. He does so much on the floor and doens't need to score. He is a great player to have on a championship team.

But, they don't have a championship team :(

Not yet they don't. But, without the RW injury they would have been a young team that went to two straight finals and may have won (unlikelyi) last year. KD/RW/Ibaka get so much better every year. Its going to happen. This is the best team they have had in the franchises history.

Hahahahahahahahaha

Collison has a MONSTER line of 4 & 3 this year. Sixth man of the year BABY!

This game is more than your stats. There is a reason why Collison has a high +/- almost every year. Watch some Thunder games and tell me Collison isn't a factor in their success.

Yeah, because he's on a team with KD and RW

And he still plays sometimes without those guys on there. Listen, I'm not going to argue this point because all you can do to evaulate the Thunder is look to a stat sheet. You never watch them play so you have no way of objectively evaluating the team. Every person in that organization will tell you that Collison is a big reason why they win games.

Yeah dude, Nick Collison in 2013-2014 is the BEST role player in the NBA, GTFOH.

Again, you have no clue what you are talking about with the Thunder. You still don't even think that Lamb is a starter calibar player and his skills are much more then you ever said.

So there isn't ONE other bench player in the NBA that you would take over Nick Collison? That is REALLY what you're telling me? REALLY?

With the current teams construction? Absolutely not. Collison is very much needed on this team. He is a big who can guard most centers and power forwards and is skill enough on offense to hit a 18 footer and run a high pick and roll with a guard. Laugh all you want but the Thunder would not trade Collison for basically anything that would be a realistic trade.

LOL, ok, we will take out wings and PG's...even though we should consider them. I'll look at just big men....

Taj Gibson

Boris Diaw

Luis Scola

Omir Asik

Brandan Wright

Andray Blatche

Both Morris twins

Miles Plumlee

John Henson

Kosta Koufos

Jon Leuer

Andrew Nicholson

J.J. Hickson

Timofey Mozgov

Jeremy Evans

All better bigs off the bench than Collison
