Since you IGNORED it....Shaq played SEVEN years in the league before he won his first ring. He played on some great teams, with great players....didn't win **** till he had Kobe.

Shaq wasnt on good teams early in his career.

Kobe helped but he was 2nd fiddle while Shaq put the team on his back literally.

Do you ever know what you're talking about? The Magic averaged 52 wins a year in the 4 years Shaq was there. If you take out his rookie year, the number jumps to 56.

Penny, Shaq, Nick Anderson, Dennis Scott, Horace Grant, Brian Shaw wasn't a good team. LOL

Tree Rollins!!!!!!!!

Nets weren't going anywhere before the injury now they are an unmitigated disaster. Tough luck for the Nets. Only thing that makes it better for the franchise is that the Knicks are even worse.

I find it hypocritcal thethe. You constantly barage us with talk about how great almost every player on the Thunder is.

Durant- Top 10 all time

Westbrook- Top 5 player now

Ibaka- Top whatever

Jackson- Future top 30

Collison- Best role player in NBA

Thabo- Perfect role player

etc.

Yet, when they don't win, it's because they are too young or this or that. Of they are as good as you hype them to be, it would be impossible for them to not win a championship. Something has to give. If they don't win again this year (when you've stated they should); where do you go from there?

First off no team has ever won when they were that young. Last year RW gets hurt and I just don't know what to say if you don't think they were the best team int he West last year. It would be a huge disappointment if they don't win the title this year.

Since Kobe was a starter, through age 25:

KD - 26.7 / 6.9 / 3.2

Kobe - 25.22 / 5.81 / 5.32

So, very comparable with numbers on O....one was an elite defender and had won 3 rings....

Again, how has KD been better?

Please, Kobe played with the most dominant player since Wilt. Plus, If KD took as many shots as Kobe he would have a much higher scoring average and if he had a dominant post up player to just toss the ball in and let him to do his work his assist numbesr are there. We are both going to think what we want and thats fine but lets not compare raw numbers without context.

How old was Bynum when Kobe won championships? You just spouted about a ridiculous frontcourt and then made an excuse about their age. So.......?

Kobe and Pau were veterans. Did you follow the conversation? The whole OKC core were babies. No team has ever won a title like that.

Keep the losing going Brooklyn. The Hawks have the right to swap first round picks with the Nets the next two seasons.

Kobe took 19.7 per game and KD is taking 18.8

Well, they were missing Leonard who does about as good of a job on KD as anyone does.

But KD didnt really have a good game from his standards, so im not sure it would of mattered THAT much.

Good win though!

It doesn't matter either way. The Thunder have too much individual talent for any team to really stop. Reggie Jackson is jsut a flat out beast. He won't be with the team next year.

You know Lamb weighs like 170 soaking wet, right? You should also go research his college career and scouting reports....or just watch some UConn games. You'll see he is far, far, far away from contributing on a good NBA team.

Loved this post!

The Thunder rely way too much on 2 players. This is a team with just crap outside of those 2. (Ibaka is good defender and can hit a jumper) Until they add pieces around those guys, hard for me to expect them to come out of the West.

Ah yes, another gem.

Until the Thunder win it all, these games in the regular season are meaningless. Good win, but let's see them do this in May.
