Lebron had 61 in 41 minutes (1.49 points per minute)
KD had 42 in 33 minutes (1.27 per mintues)

Guy could average a triple double in a season with the way he is playing since the start of this year. He gets it now and gets whatever he wants on the basketball floor now.

You wonder why people don't take you serious?

I just think its crazy that people went crazy for Lebrons 60+ point game when he played the fourth quarter in a blowout. KD sat 20 fourth quarters last year. I'd imgaine that he could have scored 70 on a couple of those occasions if he really cared about that. Apparently Lebron cares about scoring more points and cares about the attention that KD is getting. KD showed last night that he doesn't care about what Lebron is doing or what hte media says about him.

How did he show that?

Most likely not. Only one person in the history of basketball I believe ever did it. I do think he has the skillset to do it.

Just watch him play buddy and tell me he doesn't have that skillset.

LOL. SO what's the point in even stating it, seriously?

Saying he "has the skillset" is so ambiguous and subjective.

Byron Mullens has the skillset to average 20 and 10!

Whats the difference? Lebron still played the majority of the 4th quarter in a blowout game. The Thunder and KD don't believe in that. Lets marvel at Lebrons 61 in a meanginless game. KD's 54 against Golden State and 46 against Portland are more impressive. Those games were actually in doubt.

Lebron is obviously the best player on the planet but he got his 61 in what ended up being an exhibition style play in the 4th quarter.

No he doesn't. Mullens can only shoot from the outside and is soft inside. RW is the second best athlete in the NBA.

I watch my team play every night. You have no clue what you are talking about when you evaulate the Thunder. When I said that KD would be a top 10 player all time 4-5 years ago you were saying similar things to what you just said about my previous statement.

How did he show that?

KD could have asked to go back into the game so he could get some more Lebron meaningless points so that narrative would switch back to KD being hte MVP. Everyone was so up in arms about Lebrons 61 in a blowout game.

And again, you're completely delusional if you think KD doesn't care about LeBron. He's STATED THAT HE DOES. KD is chasing him, if he doesn't care, there is something seriously wrong with his mental competitiveness.

LeBron being tired of people already crowning KD as MVP and going out and shooting 22/33, including 8/10 from 3, is something to be amazed at, not say "hehe lebron is scared of durant!" LeBron is just telling people he's still the MVP, and still better (in case people forgot).

Lebron has made many comments this year that would make you scratch your head. Just things that you never heard Jordan/Kobe or even Durant say.

LOL off how jelly you are. Lebron scored 8 in the 4th quarter.

Durant is a great player. Will always be second fiddle though. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.

People are so amazed mostly because he shot 22/33 and 8/10, which is absolutely absurd.
You're nit picking so much it's crazy.

You are also the biggest homer I've ever read on the internet so it doesn't matter how often you watch the games.

So Durant showed that he doesn't care about those things bc he didn't ask to go back in the game? Do you ever stop and listen to yourself?

Thats bc how often are there 60 point games? And he did it in 41 minutes.

What? Jordan was a notorious asshole/**** talker/competitive monster. He certainly said some interesting things.
LeBron taking the talk of Durant being MVP personally is a good thing, not a detriment to his character. You're seriously delusional. Durant is NOT LeBron, and everyone knows it. He won't ever be LeBron.

I believe he scored 12 in the fourth quarter of that game.

If Durant continues his improvement trajectory he will be better than Lebron. But, he might have reached his peak in basketball skill and in that case he won't ever be better.

But, we have no clue if KD is going ot get better. Lebron is still getting better as well.

Was I wrong about my statement.

You citing one example of being right means absolutely nothing, and does not mean you'll be right about anything in the future. You know damn well you've been wrong on your grandiose statements more often than you've been right. Throwing a bunch of homeristic crap on the wall and having some of it stick means nothing.
