New Cops Thread

My wife, who is six months pregnant, was stopped at 11:30 the other night coming home from work. She was turning into our neighborhood and was stopped for going 51 in a 45 — on a road where people routinely go 10 and 15 over. Dickhead asked her three times if she had been partying. It has taken all I have not to go to that station and tell every one of them to go **** themselves.

I appreciate Joe Cop that does his job in my town. They have their hands full here. Appreciating a regular cop that does his job to the best of his ability, and assuming it excuses the dirty ones at the same time is well.... projecting my opinion across different categories like I said. You do it a ton. I do not blanket assume all cops are "corrupt pieces of garbage".

Two cops were shot in the line of duty. It doesn't excuse anything any other cops does, but should remind you its a job you do not want to do and won't do. I don't make excuses for anything a bad cop does. Bad cops are...well... bad cops. But sometimes good cops get hurt on the publics behalf too. Those guys need our respect and appreciation too. I simply don't lump the two together. Thanks.

Cause you didn't say that

You offered an excuse/reason to try to defend dirty cops by saying their job can be deadly
