The Cards have 3 of the top 5 avg guys in baseball. They have 5 in the top 30. 2 of the starters we face have ERA's under 3. (A guy with an era under 5 shuts us down) And then Joe Kelly, the other starter, has an ERA of 3.88. Their closer is 30/32 in save opportunities.

So what? The worst team wins 40% of the time. We're a good team. You don't think we could reach Edward Mujica or that Dan Uggla could run into one against Shelby Miller or that Kris Medlen could get away with a couple pitches over the plate and shut them out?

The cardinals lack killer instinct. They can't beat the Marlins. In baseball you should beat every lesser team 100% of the time. Otherwise the teams love of the game should be questioned.
 
Cardinals matchups are tough, i'd say 3-4 or 4-3, but who knows with this team.

Minor needs to pitch one of his best games of the year tonight, not many maybe if any runs off Waino.

They are good, but hardly the 27 Yankees.

I do pretty much agree, but they aren't unbeatable.

We probably have to win tonight to have any shot, and that's tough with how good Waino is.

I agree that our chances are slim tomorrow but that's why they play the game.

He was also bowing down to the Cards as if they are invincible.
 
Ok i was wrong. They looked invincible.

Should i get my hopes up for tomorrow?

And someone please explain why we can look soooooooooo bad and then look good?
