NFL Draft Thread

By the way a UT guy is the owner of the Browns who is pwning the draft.... And is currently under investigation for fraud.

Lions taking Ebron was odd... Really wanted to move up for Watkins. But if we couldn't trade out, I think I would have taken Donald.

Joe Lombardi coming from the Saints had a lot to do with us taking Ebron

Hoping Demarcus Lawrence is there when ATL selects next. Might be a run on pass rushers , and wrs or a Bridgewater.

Most folks wanted them to take Manziel at 4... Instead, they got Manziel, Gilbert, and another 1st rounder... Cn't do much better

I hink trading back from 4 to 9 was smart. I would have taken Manziel 9 and then say Bradley Roby or Darqueze Dennard and then used their 3rd round pick they traded pick 83 which could have been say Terrance Brooks or anyone else. 3rd round picks have a decent chance to be NFL starter.

I would have taken Beckham instead. He'd be a great compliment to Megatron and the guy who's name I'm forgetting now.

Maybe. Question is would they have gotten an NFL starter with the 3rd they gave up for Manziel.

That's a pretty lame argument. It's pretty clearly worth the risk. I mean a 3rd rounder for a chance to draft the next Brett Favre for an organzation who has nothing going for it? Yeah.. you make that move.

I would rather Dallas have taken Clinton-Dix, so in that respect, I'm a bit bummed. However, the offensive line has been a problem for a long time with the Cowboys. Drafting Martin actually makes sense. So, I can't complain.

Got to be hoping they address the DL from here on out, and heavily.

Can't complain about Atls pick, as of right now they got the most pro ready LT prospect in the draft and one of the top players at any position at 6. Thanks Jaxonville

I don't disagree with using that pick to move up the. But supposed that someone else traded up and took Manziel, or a surprise team took him. They gambled that he would fall from 8 to the 20s.
