I never banned anyone. PD, my god, he was terrible. You hurt his feelings he ban you.
I am an admin on a 247 site, I rarely ban anyone. The only way you get by me is you get in a long argument with me and then fill my pm box. It happened like les than 10 times in 13 years. My mods do it, they are quicker than the pm's get to me, but if those ban pm me and be nice and an apologize, I let them back on and happen a lot but.....they do it again, it is a long ban, like a month or more.

My boss is nice and we can call each other or email each other. But he trust me, two of the posters did not like me and he called me and asked what is going on and I told him. All he said was fine, DEAL WITH IT. I did not ban them. I just told them do not come at me anymore. They haven't.

3 to 4 thousand posters I have to deal with on 5 different forums.
The two above me does not monitor it, I have to do it all. Football season and Basketball season, especially this one, is challenging now. Now the political board is an issue but I don't do anything at all, let the mods handle it. I deleted that board before and they know I can again when I want to. One of the mods told them to behave and mention me doing that and they don't want this to happen.
I get mad, Sav gets mad, but you need to be balanced on how to be good. Sav is a boss and does a great job, he let his mods, not me, do the job and they do a great one. My mods are great as well, but I still have to work. PM's I get is what I address normally.

As an old time ( sometimes ) Scout poster it's fun hearing all these old screen names. I remember Patio Daddio as not being a bad guy until he got a little power and he turned into the Pol Pot of message boards.
He was just as bad before, imo. Just not as public about it until he got said power. He had threatened to 'out' me by finding my username on other various message boards when I wouldn't stop the Francoeur sucks brigade.

I remember someone making a big apology to the entire board because they had let you borrow their account. I guess you were already banned at the time. It started out keeping you anonymous and he just said he allowed a friend to borrow it. Then someone said "That was definitely thewupk," like you were a bioweapon he had tossed onto the rest of the board. It was a strange thread.
