No...that's not "negabrave" that's a fact. If Coppy offered one of our few top "MLB ready" position players when we have a stack of pitchers a mile wide, it IS incredibly stupid. That's a FACT.
Anderson and Pache is a pretty good haul
They will get at least one top 50 prospect for him in this market, and neither of those two is close to that.
Anderson is most certainly close to a top 50 prospect.
My bad, apparently it's time for me to sleep, totally read Anderson and saw that as Newcomb somehow. You're right, that would be a fair deal for Gray, though I'm still not thinking that gets it done in this trade market.
Does anyone else get this feeling that the FO is HO blinded by wanting a controllable SP that we are about to do something really dumb to get it.
Stupid would be giving up any of Albies, Acuna, or Maitan. I would probably throw Wright in there as I think he is our future ace. If we trade any of our other prospects for a controllable starter and it's fair value then I wouldn't have an issue with it. I would prefer to when we are closer to contending though.
Blows my friggin mind...B.L.O.W.S it. Why draft 500 million pitchers and then try to make a trade with a top position player?? I'll say this...Coppy is all or nothing. He either makes a really good trade our a a really crap trade. Heck, our pitchers are doing better and the most inconsistent one is the one he won't let go of. Dang hearing this pisses me off!!
U are all underestimating q. If I could get q for Albies and gohara I'm doing it.
Too good. Too much control. Too cheap.
I'd do it for archer too. It's not nearly enough
I would not give up anyone in our top 7 for gray

Its more so trading Albies for a SP when we have a ton coming up the pipeline fairly soon.
Q's contract is extremely team-friendly though.
I dont think the Braves are in position to be trading away a guy like Albies for Q, but it's certainly not crazy from the White Sox to expect someone like Albies for Q in return.
You could also trade one of those guys for a 2b. Dozier?
You are hoping you get close to the results of q from your elite guys. It's not likely you get 75 percent of q from allard soroka wright if you go by probability. Cost controlled big time starters are the most valuable thing in the game. You aren't getting him with more than 1.5 yr control for guys outside top 50

Albies and Gohara is fair value for Q. I just don't think it's time for that type of move yet.
