Official 2022 Offseason Moves Thread

If Freeman signs in NY I hope we don’t go the Rizzo route. That would be a big downgrade. We have to pony up for Olson at that point. That may be the best route to be honest. We could work out a longer deal with Olson at the end of the season and have money to get a better OF and SP.

Yankees would have three 30+ million dollar players on the roster plus Judge is coming up next winter. They'd pick Freeman long-term over Judge, cant see even them being the Yankees how they could manage four 30 million+ contracts. They'd have to guarantee that 6th year to get him.

I think if there is only a year difference between us and the Yankees offer I think he chooses us. The Dodgers have to be considered a dark horse here.

I've suffered enough with the Panthers and Lakers. I couldn't watch the Braves after Ronnie went down last year. The band has to get back together for me.

I’m not worried either way. AA has shown he knows what he is doing. I’d obviously love to have him back and finish his career in Atlanta, but if the numbers don’t work, move on.

Panthers probably gonna get Deshaun. But i trust AA if we miss on Freddie, i'm sure he has all types of scenarios out there.

Do you know what I find hilariously funny? If Acuna doesn't go down, we most likely don't win the title. Pederson was huge against the Brewers, Rosario against LA, and Soler against Houston. Acuna doesn't get hurt there is no need for that combo. At most we get Duvy back and that's it but I doubt that would have been enough.
