Official 2022 Offseason Moves Thread

Pache had a lot of prospect fatigue and I’m not sad he’s gone (Acuna will be) but Langeliers sucks to lose.

I'm a prospect hoarder at heart, but I'm surprised that I'm totally hating this deal (or maybe I'm just talking myself into it). Trading Pache doesn't bother me at all because I don't believe he'll ever hit. Most people peg Estes as a reliever.

Langeliers and Cusick hurt me the most. We have to hope Contreras can become the guy, and that would lessen the pain of Langeliers a lot. Cusick I'm just bummed about losing. Really loved him.

Kinda easy to see maybe Lango moving. No other reason to sign Pina for 2 years unless TDA and Contreras were acceptable for next 2 years.

They had to have loved Contreras to make this deal.

If there is a silver lining here, it's that we traded from a position of strength overall. We are deep at all of those positions as an organization and it doesn't seem like most top prospect catchers turn into MVP candidates.

I'm not excited about Duvall as everyday CF or Acuna having to spell him some out there. Hopefully Harris develops quickly or AA has something else.
