Official 2023 Playoff Thread

The Phillies worry me. They know our pitching and have been hitting us, Wheeler and Nola are both tough, good bullpen…I’d like Miami to upset them, but they’re without Alcantara and Eury Perez, so I think they’ll go down hard.

Wheeler is the only SP out of the playoff field who really concerns me. Although we roughed him up in a recent start, he seems to own us. And having to face him twice in a short series would not be fun. The Phillies are essentially built for the playoffs. They could easily flame out, but they certainly have the potential to go on a run like they did last year.

It may be nothing, but the Braves activated McHugh from the 15-day injured list yesterday. No word on whether he will be on the roster, of course.

Here is a drone view of my new deck. My handy man really got this going for me.

The Phillies’ fans comments on Strider’s no fans joke is absolute gold. It makes me want to face them in the NLDS.

As much as I roll my eyes at criticisms that AA failed to add a starting pitching, I do think missing out on Jordan Montgomery could end up biting us in the butt.

While I don't disagree, I'm not sure the Braves even had the pieces to land him. The Rangers gave up two pretty decent prospects, one is a 50 FV on Fangraphs.
