The below piece is pure "what I'd like to see" from Bowden, but the Braves trading Grissom and Schwellenbach (or AJSS straight up) for one year of Bieber would be the beginning of my villain arc.

Didn't Bieber have an elbow problem? Why would we do a deal (especially one that includes Grissom) for one year of a guy whose elbow is about to explode?

He had a shoulder injury in 2021 and elbow inflammation last season. lol
 
Bieber is a solid pitcher, but with his declining peripherals he's closer to Morton in terms of production. More of a really good No. 3 type of pitcher than he is a front line pitcher. So color me in the camp of not wanting to give up that much for him when other mid rotation types like Stroman and E-Rod are available for cash only.

Two or three of Griss (not a prospect, I know), AJSS, Schwellenbach, Kuehler, Murphy, and Waldrep seems about right.
