Also, niners holds the distinction for being the only person ever banhammered in this site's history after his racial comment towards BJ Upton last year. It was so bad that even some of our class clowns took offense to it.

I thought that Cy was kidding, and I understand COG getting his nose out of joint. I always hope that everyone here has learned enough about their peers here to know when a bit of fun is being had, and I get that sometimes the fun has a sharper edge than we necessarily intend.

I hate to see any contributing member leave. I think it's good to unplug from time to time if you're not having fun, but I really feel diminished when someone leaves the community. This is great place, and the people behind the handles, even if I never meet them in real life, are what make it great. It's meaningful to me. COG, you're part of this place and I hope you come back. Sav is a nice person. He could have banned me for my epic rant, but he let me back in. He knows I did harm to a lot of posters because I was forced to by my master Paddio. Thanks to Sav and his nice and gentle kindness, he let me back in and be a thriving member here.

I lost a lot friends being a NAZI mod, a lot of them on Scout.

Not nice at all. BJ plays hard and I swear he will give his all this year. That salary he is getting is eating at him and he wants to prove us all wrong.

I honestly think he will better this because of the ego thing.

As for Niners "lazy black ass" comment he has no idea how some of us work and how hard to make sure we keep our job. BJ is going to do that to keep his job. If he said that in my face, I would be in jail for 30 days for caving his face in.
 
Not to turn this into a BJ thread and I don't think he's lazy but he did dog Fredi during that one Sunday night game. Between that and his constant bitching on third strike calls, I've not been too thrilled with him.

It was a one time thing, so I guess Sav let it go. I don't believe Sav will ban anyone unless they malware or porn this place to death. Yes I been on sites with people doing crap like that.

I think having a new hitting coach might help BJ. Walker was absolutely horrible. When I noticed BJ playing better after Chipper worked with him I knew Walker had to go. Chipper helped BJ more in one day working with him than what Walker did in nearly two years.

And I almost always start to reply to something until I realize that while this board is infinitely better than Scout, it's still an internet board where "niceness" is the highest virtue and every day someone's butthurt about something some stranger happened to think about something he said.

And I just walk away. Lest the nice police ban me for speaking my mind.

Don't post porn or malware, you will get banned, follow those two rules, you can post whatever the heck you want. I think those are SAV rules. THe crap I posted here initially I would have been permabanned at Scout.
