I'm fine with letting him walk... There's only one starter who's ever really come back from 2 TJ surgeries successfully and that was Capuano... And he's not exactly a lights out starter. The chances Beachy or Medlen do much of anything are slim to none. The odds just aren't there so why even waste a cent?

That said, I have my doubts about either Medlen or Beachy making it back from a 2nd TJS to be solid starters again. But I do think one or both could make it back as solid relievers.
