We seem to live or die by the long ball so it’d be nice to have a high OBP guy.
Andrew Benintendi might fit in that role as well, probably at a little lower cost.

Pushing your hawgs on us haha
I like him too
Nimmo is the best OF'er on the market, after Judge signs. Think he'll have a much larger market than some think. Wouldnt mind him at all though, could really use a contact bat/high OBP in the outfield.
I can't imagine Cohen letting him go to the Braves. It would have to be Nimmo wanting out or understanding the Braves are a better bet for team success.
That said, I LOVE the idea of a high OBP player. I think that would be a great compliment to the current line up.
You can probably get Michael Brantley for much cheaper.
What is so difficult to decipher? AA has limited money at the moment. Less than $10M away from luxury tax. He, unfortunately also, has limited trade chips.
The market around baseball is super quiet right now. We do not know how much money AA has to spend. Could be less than 10, could be 30-40 million. We'll know in the next couple months.
WE MAY KNOW something by opening day of next season but there is no need to guess what and who will be Braves next year until a determination is made on Ozuna and maybe Rosario. The market around baseball is super quiet right now. You know this how? You don’t know what the budget is or how much he has to spend. But common sense tells you he didn’t blow his wad on Morton and has no plan for SS besides Arcia or Grissom.
Hopefully by the end of next week, there is at least some movement on the free agent front and we have some clarity heading into the rest of the off season.
Braves likely only make a few moves outside of the SS position decision so I wasn't expecting a roster overhaul this winter anyway.

By watching off seasons for many many years, reading multiple newspapers every day when reporters had access, and acknowledging the fact that Atlanta Braves are the only truly corporate entitiy thereby answering to shareholders and not a billionaire owner,.
