I mean Pitt will take on money.. they are rebuilding and have no salary.. so they will if the return is good.. We bought Touki for 10 million. So it has been done, just don't see the Braves having enough to get Reynolds and give up a bad contract.. not when Reynolds alone will command such a nice return.

I am not sure what kind of package the Braves they can offer. But i believe Ian Anderson is better that any of the Pirates pitchers right now.

Another thing is how many time we signed or trade for players that look good on paper and then they suck.

Example: Nate McLouth, Dan Uggla, Bj Upton, Kenny Lofton, Marcell Ozuna and the list continue.
 
Still find it funny that it seemed like Murphy was on the verge of being traded a few days ago, the braves were the favorites to land him, then it came out that we were not the team getting him, now there are crickets surrounding him....

Seems fishy.
 
Good to see the Yanks bring their guy back. Wish we followed a similar philosophy. Best infield in the game in '21 with a championship to half of it gone in less than two years. I used to think much of Anthoupolus but the Jays can have him back for all I care. Also don't care to hear McGuirk and Schiller brag about the top five payroll anymore.

They're also saving money for Ohtani and another Japanese guy Sakaki for next winter. Thats not the sole reason they're not going for Correa. Nothing in Ken's latest piece about the Braves. AA must have a doorlock on information because there's nothing out there about the Braves with anything right now.

What SS suitors are left that has the money to spend? Atl, SF, LAD, NYY, Cubs, and SDP and I think that’s it. LAD won’t go after Correa and I doubt NYY do after what they just gave Judge. I think it’s Us, the Giants, and Padres for Correa.
