Kind of feels like we should prep for a repeat of last offseason - big early move(s), then a lot of thumb twiddling while we wait for Godot.
Basically comparable to our 2018 lineup, except the other teams around us are now much better. We'll make another move, current lineup to put it nicely wont cut it.

We SHOULD, and I know AA wants to, but it's not hard to imagine the Bowman spin come Spring Training if no other moves are made.
"The Braves explored options for adding another bat to their already potent lineup. They attempted to re-sign third baseman Josh Donaldson and checked in with free agent Anthony Rendon - both free agents gave them reason to believe their price tag was out of the team's comfort zone. General Manager Alex Anthopolous conducted some preliminary conversations with the Cubs about third baseman Kris Bryant, but the Cubs quickly gave Anthopolous reason to walk away without a deal being consummated.
"The team eventually determined that none of the available options represented a significant upgrade over incumbents Austin Riley and Johan Camargo, who, in 2019 and 2018, respectively, provided reasons to believe they could be effective big league regulars. And while Anthopolous was potentially interested in improving the team's outfield situation, he eventually determined there was reason to believe that an outfield of young superstar Ronald Acuna in right, a healthy and resurgent Ender Inciarte in center and a deceptively potent Nick Markakis/Adam Duvall platoon in left could provide sufficient production considering the team's greatly improved bullpen."
It's so bad that I read this and thought it could be real.We SHOULD, and I know AA wants to, but it's not hard to imagine the Bowman spin come Spring Training if no other moves are made."The Braves explored options for adding another bat to their already potent lineup. Not reading all that, AA isnt spending on the bullpen and only adding TDA to the offense. Come on. They'll add someone, AA basically admitted as much. He's not an idiot.
We need to liven things up around here. At least we had Mish last offseason.
Even though we didnt land JTR, that was still a fun time. Mish is a Braves legend.
^Maybe MadduxFanII is really Bowman.
Morosi said in his Q/A today he thinks JD re-signs on a 3-4 year deal.
Well there is something. I hope the LAD stand pat at 3B if they don’t get AR and he ends up signing with Texas or the Angels and then JD picks us over the team out of those two left without a chair. I really don’t think JD will commit treason and sign with a team in our division after the bond he built in such a short time with our fans but it could just be me thinking with my heart instead of my head.
