Depends if JD went to the Nats or not.
Nats pretty big favorites if they got JD, if not, depends who else Nats/Braves add if JD didnt go to either club.

It probably comes down to who between us and the Nats fill 3b better. After JD only Bryant makes the most sense for either team.

Problem is once JD is off the market Cubs can back is into a corner. And if that’s the case I’d rather overpay with money than prospects.

If we don’t sign Donaldson we should sign one of the pitchers and wait for the market. Next year Chapman maybe available and other good players.
