We just said **** it. I guess for AA saving money and prospects > than forfeiting a draft pick.

We didn’t commit more years to Ozuna bc we have Pache and Waters waiting in the wings and don’t want to block them, and it works for Ozuna bc he wants to re-establish value for next offseason.

Also that’s likely why nobody signed him bc they didn’t want to forfeit the pick. Just like with Keuchel last year.

I wonder if we have much money left, and if we do if we make another move for someone like KB or Arenado?

Ozuna really seemed like something clicked late in the year. Was never that high in him, but he scared the crap out of me in the playoffs.

You'd rather have Nick/Duvall cleanup, oh brother. I'm not a huge Ozuna fan but for 1 year, you cant complain about this like at all.

Nick and Duvvy as bench bats are gold. Deepens the roster.

Going by my probably wrong memory, markakis starts pretty fast and ender struggles till it warms up. Maybe we see nick more early and ender later

It is weird that Ozuna signed for a deal roughly worth what he turned down from the team he publicly stated he wanted to stay with in their qualifying offer.
