Offseason Hot Stove 2024-25 Thread

The Dodgers track record with top prospects has been pretty pathetic honestly.

Other than Will Smith, they havent really developed anyone of note lately. Seager, for sure. Thank god they didnt pay him with this roster they have.

Dodgers are loaded, but the age of the lineup will become an issue at some point. And there's alot of injury concerns for their rotation as well. But they have unlimited money, and can get anyone they want, at any time but some food for thought.

They’ve already proven that they will just spend whatever to replace the age.

Again, I ask - what magical "value" do the Braves have in their heads where they think a guy is "worth it"? 4/72 is perfectly reasonable for Scott.

Why the **** did we let Minter go for 11 million?

I cant even defend AA anymore. Unless he's doing some deal where he gets everything in one deal. Minter for 2/22 or Scott for what he just got are more than okay.

Yeah thats not even an overpay at all. Idk what AA is even gonna do at this point.

Holy ****. The Dodgers are on another planet right now. I can't defend AA right now besides he lied and is getting under the tax that's the only thing this can be and they've tied his hands. 18 per for Scott is reasonable and Minter for 2 years is also. Worst offseason for AA by far and it's not even close.
