Offseason Hot Stove 2024-25 Thread

Soto said a while back he wanted no deferred money. Like Cheff said, I’d be surprised if Cohen lets him go anywhere else. The Mets made a good run last year so they’ll want to build off that.

what I don't like is that the A's and Angels have made more impactful moves than the Braves so far. lmao that's obviously a short-sighted joke, but it's pretty incredible.

The A’s move was a dumb one. They way over paid for Severino and for what? They have 0 chance next year.

AA wanted him and since he only knows how to trade with the A's, he asked his friend to get him and he will send over some prospect for him a bit later on.

They are spending money just to spend money because they lost revenue sharing due to not spending money. And they have to overpay to get anyone to sign with them.

AA is probably waiting for a certain shoe to drop. A Crochet and Robert deal would knock out 2 pieces. Robert had a down year but getting him out of CF would help to keep him healthy.

Pretty rare that any team solves two position problems in one trade.
