No they aren't. And I understand why people think Hoffman can move to starting but I don't think it's a good idea. Too 1 pitch reliant imo.

No one saw Lopez and Sale as SP options last year. Heck all 3 of our best starters to begin the year long of cake out of nowhere. schwellenbach we knew but even the thethest of thethes predicted him.

I wouldn't have hated Buehler, but he's a fairly expensive risk on a staff with multiple expensive injury risks. The best thing you can say is that he's only a 1 year risk.

it was more about his resume pre surgery than a handful of starts while he was coming back..

it is funny that everyone expects Strider to come back and knock dicks off hitters right out the gate but then calls a very good pitcher who just came back from a major surgery 'one of the worst' pitchers.. blah blah blah..

Strider will probably suck a lot next year.. be ready.. WB will probably be really good next year.. be ready. that is how major arm surgeries go usually.. it takes time (almost a full year) to get back to normal.. This is Strider's second major surgery as well. be ready...
