Not in the big leagues?

Probably a trade for someone in the minors. But it's basically impossible to guess what AA"s doing. Scott would be fine. Verlander i'm eh on depending on price. Would love Pablo Lopez. I think outfield is a bigger need than both of SP/RP though.

this feels like a classic Cy troll folks. I am not buying it..

AA's gonna make a move eventually. There is smoke with Tanner Scott, but i think we need outfield/SP more than RP. I think we could get by with our current bullpen. Outfield and SP (there are options). Verlander would be okay i guess but depends on price.

Of course you do. Why would you want to be positive about anything. lol. I worry about you sometimes man.

For the record, I get where you’re coming from in your opinions, but man you get so negative about everything. And I am convinced msstate is you or your even more negative doppelgänger lol

Even msstate isnt as bad as Matt. Matt is on the deep end of negativity right now. It's just sports but AA's eventually gonna make some moves.

How sweet would it be to stick it to MLB than for us to sign Bauer and him start the all star game in Atlanta.

Bauer wasnt charged of anything. But he'd be super cheap, and is worth a dart throw. Idk if AA would sign him though.

Bauer is a huge douchebag that everyone hates. AA is a champion of team chemistry. There is no way he signs him.

Is it AA’s job to have a team full of guys that get along or is his job to put the most competitive team on the field that he can?

Bauer would be the most interesting FA signing of the entire offseason.

What is he charged with or convicted of?

You can bitch about it all you want. But if someone was gonna sign Bauer, it would have been done by now.

We go over this every 2-3 months. Bauer admitted to doing practically everything he was accused of, including punching the girl so hard that she lost consciousness and was treated for a concussion. The caveat being that it was "consensual" because the girl was trying to extort him. While that seems to legally absolves him, the court of public opinion finds his behavior to be rather grotesque. And it's likely the players and the coaching staff feel the same way. And that ignores the fact that he was routinely hated around the league even before all of this came out.

Not to mention, the guy is 33 with a very up and down MLB career. Only twice did he did he finish a season with a FIP under 3.80. The likelihood of him being this dominant ace that balances out the negativity he brings is pretty small. There's better than a decent size chance you just signed a huge douche that half the team and the fanbase hates and he performs so poorly that he is cut before the end of June.
