No it's the fact that he gets sexual pleasure from beating up and degrading women.

If that's something you enjoy you're an awful person.

It probably extends into the rest of your world too.

I find Bauer's behavior disgusting, but if you look at all the crap that front offices overlook when obtaining players (often with the old adage "He's worked on himself and he's a different person now") I think the things that are keeping Bauer out of baseball is his arrogance to admit (sincere or otherwise) that his sexual practices are more than unsavory and the fits of pique he has and expresses publically on social media. He's fashioned himself as a "no apolgies" guy and that's what has kept him out of the game.

But on another note, what Bauer has done anounts to domestic/sexual abuse and if we look back and see all the excuses that were made for Ozuna and Bobby Cox, it should be equally troubling. The sexual angle just pushes it a couple of steps further. Last I checked, there are number of players who have been charged with domestic abuse who are still drawing a paycheck from a franchise. If we're going to lock this crap down, lock it down.
 
just ran into a guy at honey baked ham today.. told me that the Braves have signed 2 FA and they will be announced next week.. He wouldn't give me any details or even if they were big names.. just said it will move the needle for the team..

If you want truths, here it is: I was told 2 players were being signed by the #Braves. One was nixed, but the other was “good to go”. By now, y’all can probably decipher who was the one nixed and the one good to go.

And I’ll be 100% honest: I have no idea why it hasn’t been announced. That’s the story. People that have seen my “breaking news”, know that I’m not one to pass false information. If you’re skeptical, that’s fine, but there’s no need for insults.
 
Only thing that would any sense were if AA was trying to line up a trade and was holding off announcing it. Could Iglesias be traded? I would doubt it but who knows.
 
I could see us trading Iglesias if we are now trying to bring in two relievers - maybe for an OF, SS, or starting pitcher of higher quality than what’s currently available on the market.
 
The Padres are wanting Scott and have been wanting him back bad so what if we have signed Scott and we’re using Iglesias in a trade for Cease? The Padres are gonna lose Cease after the season anyways and need another closer/high end bullpen guy and they can get one on a 1 year deal.
 
Not to engage too much in something that's quite possibly just malarkey, but it might be that the team didn't want to announce a move on New Year's Eve or Day because it wouldn't get much attention. Not something that Anthopolous cares overmuch about, I suspect, but the business side probably likes getting some positive press when there's a major transaction.
