Oh my god.

Good stuff. I love the world series rematch as the first ever "game" at Turner Field.

My man Joe. He and Don never wore the tomahawk as player, but Braves in my book. This game is bittersweet memories for me Remember watching bits and pieces of it from the ICU waiting room of the local hospital. My grandfather was battling cancer at the time, we lost him in December '97. He was a huge Braves fan.

The obligatory post in any Braves video thread::cooter:

This is pretty cool. I saw this a while back. It's a meaningless Braves game from September of 1985 against the Reds. It's a 6 minute video with highlights from the game.

Here's a couple more of the intros the Braves had over the years.

This breaks my heart hearing it again.

Cool stuff! I remember the soft reprise of the Braves on TBS theme that played during rain delay updates, between episodes of World's Most Dangerous Car Chases and The Andy Griffith Show.

I think everyone can agree that the TBS days were the Golden Age. Braves baseball will never be like that in those days, especially for those of us who aren't from Atlanta.

Whenever I heard that soft pianoy reprise of the TBS theme I'd go "****!!! NOT A RAIN DELAY!!!!"

Interesting that the original thought was that Turner Field was going to be a hitters park and not a pitchers park. Hasn't quite turned out that way.
