My cousin lives with us and he tested positive Monday. I got tested as a precaution Tuesday with my dad, but I havent been in direct contact with either of them as I just work and go straight to my room. We did a drive in test and took separate cars.

My father had a fever and cough before the vaccine, and his shortness of breathe and such just started occurring after the vaccine so it's hard to know.

My cousin is currently out of the house, house sitting for someone but is currently asymptomatic.

My test results should come in sometime today or tomorrow.

Just two negative tests. Probably take another one on Monday.

They're gonna give my dad a shot of something tomorrow probably remdesivir. Doc says if his numbers continue to hold steady he can be released tomorrow evening sometime. Still having shortness of breathe and no appetite. They wanna hold him another night just for precautions because of his age (70).

I hope it ends up being a mild case. It is a bit weird that my mom and your dad tested positive around the same time (and they are the same age). You think they're ****ing around?
 
Father was able to be discharged.

I picked him up. He seems to be taking this quarantine, hand sanitizing and washing hands stuff a lot more seriously now.

Have hand sanitizer stations and lysol spray everywhere in house so he caj can spray door knobs and handles that he touches.

The 2 day hospital stay has really given him some humility and made him realize this ain't no joke.

Well, he was one of those that said as long as he wears a mask in public he'll be fine, but still wasn't practicing other social distancing methods. Nor staying vigilant on hand washing, sanitizing, etc. But he's a lot more aware of his surroundings now.
