OK ... Time to begin the bullpen reboot

Not sure what you expect. You were/are all about the rebuild. The players are bad and that should have been expected. Everyone wants the number one pick and losing games guarantees that. I honestly don't understand what people thought was going to happen? You took a bad team last year and made them worse this time around.

I'm generally not too concerned with bullpen arms getting acclimated to the majors, so I'm not too worried about bringing up a guy like Minter this year. It seems like most of the time, if those guys are going to be good, they're good right away. So I'm fine with waiting until next year.

Here's how I would plan to set up the pen for next year:

Long man: Jenkins
MR: Paco, Withrow, FA LHP
7th: Simmons/Cabrera
8th: Minter/Simmons
9th: Vizcaino

While I normally would agree. This free agency has a lot of good pen arms, and I foresee us acquiring a couple of them with the idea to flip them in July. I also think Vizcaino will be flipped if he can come up and give us a good showing for a month. Withrow is probably gone as well since he's out of options, and we probably plan on having pen arms in AAA waiting for when the vets are traded.

I think Minter, Cabrera, Simmons, and Paco or Winkler, are the main set up men with a swing man and 2 vets acquired.

Ian Kroll could also be flipped this winter

Depending on price in both dollars and years, I wouldn't be averse to bringing Jim Johnson back again.

I still think Marksberry could develop into a decent LOOGY.
