OPENING DAY ROSTER 2019 (including ILs)

If players were commodities then drafting Yona and sticking him on the bench as the 25th guy makes sense. But taking him and losing a year of development possibly more doesn’t. Plus he will then be forever on your 40 man roster and you will have to contend with that every year. All for a guy you hope figured it out. Yona will not get taken in R5. Not unless a team sees something that no one else sees.
 
didn't see it posted but the braves signed free agent RHP Royber Salinas to a minor league deal and also signed C Denzel Bryson to a minor league deal

Don't know anything about either of them

Edit: Royber Salinas is a 17 year old pitcher out of Venezuela while Denzel Bryson is a 18 year old catcher out of Aruba

the 31 on the 40 man included the four guys on the 60 day DL who they subsequently reinstated.

the Braves tweeted today they are at 36 after adding Raffy Lopez.
 
Chopping away players from the bottom of the 40-mam have gone in this order: Sanchez, McCreery, Ruiz.
 
Non-roster invitees now included with 40-man. Up soon; uniform numbers!
 
McCann gave Culberson a nice watch for giving him his number 16 back according to DOB. Don't know the brand because buying a sub to The Athletic is not exactly compelling my credit card to fly out of my wallet to learn these kind of tidbits.
