I don't think it's inherently racist no. I think the issue is that it's classist. The reason race comes into play often is because typically ID's are ran by the state DMV. Getting to said place can be tough. Especially in Rural poor areas.

I've said before in the past I'm OK with Voter ID if we follow the Constitution and states voter representaiton is recorded correctly as adults 18+ with IDs. Not just population. Or subtract non-eligible adults. Whatever.

Again, I've lived in states with both Voter ID and non,there was little security difference between the 2

i personally have been denied a visa to Australia

i didn't cry that it was tyranny or oppression.

i called it dumb and moved along and spent more time in new zealand on that trip lol

As far as I can tell the only think you think is oppression is a GOP official requiring an ID to vote.
