Realistically the only one of these measures I could support would be regarding regulation around crowdsourcing measures, and that’s only narrowly. In fact, I’d question whether the measures I would support regarding crowdsourcing aren’t already being done under existing laws.
As for the rest, I really, really disagree with Canada here. The measure on banking sounds like an avenue to go after banks simply for holding money for groups/people the country has an issue with. It’s the same thing with the insurance companies. Providing banking or insurance to people committing crimes doesn’t seem to me like an issue a government should be stopping, unless that company is actively involved with illegal activity.
