No one knows what kind of person someone is without knowing them. Is Trump a less cruel and evil leader? Certainly. But if you have to dig so low that you're trying to compare yourself to Putin, Xi, or Jung-Un you should consider climbing out rather than digging deeper.
 
Trump certainly aspires to be like them. He was very fond of WW2 authoritarians. I believe he really liked studying Mussolini’s speeches.

Unfortunately for him our government has some sort of checks to prevent Trump from going full Putin.
